Responsibilities: Web design, EDM design & creation, google display ads, social media, paid & organic, print collateral, newspaper & billboard advertising, video editing & gif creation, style guide creation and maintenance.
In my 4 years working as the inhouse graphic designer for Leisurecom Group I looked after the design requirements for 4 brands. Their flagship brand, Discover Queensland, took the majority of my time. I worked on everything from the redesign of the website to creating EDMs to newspaper ads and everything in between.
Website Redesign
I worked in the marketing team alongside web developers to redesign the Discover Queensland website.
The website redesign was part of a much larger rebranding project, including: Logo, newsletters, social media and all printed assets.
The website was completely overhauled to be responsive, user-friendly and have a smooth customer journey. The design was updated to have a more modern look and feel while still keeping the brand recognisable.
Style Guide
Along with the reimagining of the website I was tasked with creating and maintaining the brand’s style guide.
This was a useful tool moving forward to keep consistency across all platforms, especially when working with external contractors.
Weekly Campaigns
After being provided the product for the week I would work with the marketer to brainstorm the best angle to present it.
I would then create the newsletter, social media organic and paid assets, google display ads, website banners and any traditional media.
